Biography

Leslie Gilbert Elman is a New York-based writer, editor and frustrated Jeopardy! contestant, who has soaked up a lifetime’s worth of trivial information just in case someone asked her to write The Ladies' Room Reader Quiz Book.

She has worked for the National Hockey League and Better Homes & Gardens books, written articles for Playboy and books for children, and covered travel destinations from Poland to the Poconos. The Ladies’ Room has always played a significant role in her life.

Leslie also writes frequently about Scandinavia and the Nordic countries. Click on the links at left to see more. (Interested in reprints? Please e-mail me.)

And in a lesser-known part of her not-too-distant past, Leslie was the founder and editor of Afterglow Romantic Walks.
