Where was the Wonderbra invented?

a. Canada - The Wonderbra, which lifts the breasts and creates "cleavage" where none existed, was designed by Louise Poirier for the Canadian company Canadelle. The design was licensed to the British firm Gossard in 1964 and made a little splash in Britain. When Playtex took over the license in 1994, Wonderbras burst into the United States, selling at the rate of one every 15 seconds!
